Victorian passengers from Greater Melbourne, Bendigo, Torquay, Ballarat, Geelong, the Bellarine and Mornington Peninsulas, Phillip Island and selected areas of Gippsland will be picked up from home in a private chauffeured vehicle by one of our professional drivers.
For Victorian passengers not within this pick up zone, or our interstate passengers a quote can be provided for home pickup in extended areas – just contact our office.

At the end of your coach tour, you will be safely returned home with memories of a sensational tour.
O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours is celebrating 40 years in the coach touring industry in 2025. Our company, renowned for its high standards of customer service and touring excellence, began in the 1980s with founders Laurie and Margaret O’Shannessy. Back in those early days, they traveled across Australia’s vast outback in their Denning coach, with Margaret preparing hearty breakfasts for their passengers and Laurie sharing his passion for the country’s landscape. Their commitment to providing an unforgettable experience laid the foundation for the company’s enduring success.
Fast forward to today, and O’Shannessy’s Quality Tours is still a family-run business, now headed by Laurie’s son Chris and his wife Bernadette. The company remains based in Rye, Victoria, and is supported by a third generation of the O’Shannessy family. Their four children, Josephine, Liam, Toby, and Casey, have all contributed to the business, either working in the office or serving as Tour Directors. This family involvement ensures that the core values of exceptional service and memorable travel experiences remain central to the company’s operations.

Both tour directors were very good. I found Adam outstanding with his attention and care. Adam is one in a million with all passengers. I enjoyed it all but the four wheel driving stands out and the sunset on the lookout.

Our first O'Shannessy's tour and loved it all! So many highlights. We enjoyed both Islands. The itinerary covered so many things: history and geography, loved the stories of the locals. The beaches on Flinders Island are breathtaking. Our meals were excellent. Our tour leader Mandy was wonderful, caring, competent and fun.

Learning the history of Mungo man and woman and the affects of long droughts on the waterways was a highlight, as was the beauty of some of the art on the silos. The tour guide and chauffeur worked constantly to attend to our needs and care for the coach. They were well informed about the places we visited and showed their knowledge with us constantly.
